I wrote this poem book during a time when George Flyod ' s name became a movement. This poem  dtory displayes an influential beacon of hope , culture  and believing in yourself  no matter what obstacles we face, all across the world.  I felt the necessity to express my sensitivity as a Black mother, teacher, author, Aunts cousin and sister of African American Children in hope that would one day see liberty and justice and the pursuit of happiness that we can all .
